In artificial light the sky is magenta, but when the sunlight hits it you'll see it as a lavender purple, like it shows in the header photo that was taken outside :) 

I made this painting on New Years Eve of 2020.

Little did I know what a complete shit show that year would be... However it was the first New Year's resolution that I've stuck with- to make more paintings than I knew what to do with. To keep painting & learning everything I could to be able bring to life the visions in my mind's eye. 

I now, definitely have more shitty paintings than I know what to do with... A lot of them 16×20s, because for some reason when you're a beginner you refuse to work small lol 

They get in my way, but I don't see them as wasted supplies or effort. I couldn't sell them & thought I could burn them like a lot of artists do, but most of them I ended up giving away to people who I knew would appreciate & take care of them. 

So this one is to many more- many paintings, sunrises, sunsets, good days & good people.
